We are in the middle of a cold front (15 degrees C at night) and we are loving it! We have dug out a couple sweaters, remembering to soak in all these times as we know hot season is just around the corner in March/April. The Lord knows we will need NO sweaters then!

Another speaking opportunity came up for John to go to "Windy Hill" resort out in Cayo to speak at a teacher's conference on "unconditional love". The school is from Belize City and they do these conferences every year and each year they pick a new location from around the country to allow their teachers to experience their country. I thought that was an amazing idea. John thoroughly enjoyed talking and interacting with these teachers who very obviously care a great deal about the students they come into contact with everyday. The girls and I went along for the ride and walked the beautiful location and played for a couple hours, it was a wonderful morning out - enjoying this beautiful country we live in.

John has also been able to connect in with Santi and Lilianna over at our sister base, YWAM Banana Bank who have been running a boys football (soccer) team and ministry for years. John was involved in the very beginning of the program as it developed so he is excited to be jumping back into this area. He strongly feels called to the area of sports and discipleship through sports.
This weekend was the beginning of a tournament and we went to the opening ceremony/parade kick off and watched a few of the games. It's so great to see a program that is helping to channel these young boys into a positive vein of learning discipline while having fun!

I, Patti, have been pouring myself into the day to day life that is with 3 kids. I am learning so much about myself and continue to realize I cannot do life without Him. He is my source of strength and the only way to peace and life. I need Him everyday to give me more patience and creativity to get all the things I need to get done and nurture these precious ones entrusted to me.
Charlotte's birthday is next week! What a joy she is. She finally got 2 teeth! It will be the beginning of the George girl birthday marathon. Naomi in March and Evangeline in April.
