Sweet Belize Home

Well, we made it!!  When we thought we might not, racing ahead of a major snow storm and catching flights with crazy amounts of luggage, we made it safe and sound.  Thank you to my dad for driving us and being our personal chauffeur.  LOVE YOU!  Thank you to all of you who thought of us and prayed for our safe travels, we are so grateful!

The last week in Canada was a blur of packing and goodbyes.  We did, however, manage to squeeze in a hockey game!  The girls had never been before so it was a pretty fun experience!  It was especially fun that John got to go on the ice and attempt to play hockey.

Yes, that's a silverback gorilla, the team mascot!

Our entry back into Belize has been challenging and amazing all at the same time- seeing all of our wonderful friends here in Belize has been good for us.  We are blessed.  We have been cleaning and organizing our home since we got in.  When we left here 6 months ago we packed up most of our stuff as we were having some friends moving in, so we have been digging ourselves out for a week!  John has made us some shelves for our kitchen which has helped so much with our storage problem.  Our house is unfinished, but we love it!
The "George Elementary" has re-opened after a rather long break. We are getting used to our new schedule and the kids are doing well. Charlotte has hit about 3rd gear in walking which has made us all on alert in a new place for things she can get into, which she has proved is pretty much everything!!

We are looking forward to jumping back into ministry.  We are ready!  Thanks for your thoughts, prayers and encouragement.  Blessings!!
