November News!

Happy November!  I'm not sure where the first 13 days of November went but here we are!

The POX!
Thank you for all who prayed for John during the past couple weeks as he had CHICKEN POX!  That's right, it's just not as common in the Caribbean and so there is no vaccination and most people have not had it as children.  I saw first hand why as children we were rushed to infected children's houses so we would catch it as children and not adults.  It was bad... hundreds of sores, but praise God John is doing much better and has healed.  Please continue to pray for the kids who have not had it before and only Charlotte has had the vaccination for it.  We're right in the middle of the incubation period.

Dance Revolution

Most of you might remember me sharing about Dance camp and a friend named Keri Halvorson who came and taught in our studio for a week this past summer.  Keri invited me and a few others up to an event called Dance Revolution in Orlando, Florida.  4 of us will be participating in a weekend dance event with world renown teachers and choreographers!  I am especially excited about being in a "studio owner/teacher" classroom with others who I can learn and grow from on the dynamics of running a dance studio.

En Croix School of Dance:

We have approximately 40 students enrolled this year - Beginning at Ages 2 all the way up to 15.  Our teachers, Bethany, Keilah and myself are having a blast with the group this year.  We just finished up teacher evaluations for the kids and they did awesome!  We also have 2 Christmas performance that our "Petite Company" was invited to perform at.
As a fundraiser for our Dance Revolution trip we recently did a Pajama party with games, movies, nail polish and dress up.  Oh the fun we had!  I so enjoy these extra times of connecting with the kids!
It was pretty much a huge success!

Thanks for all who helped with the fundraisers and helping us be able to go.  We have one final fundraiser on Saturday, another yard sale.  (by Brodies again if you're in the area)

Thanks and blessings!
Patti
