August Travels

As the end of summer approaches, we are getting read for our new school year with the dance studio and school ministry and John has had the privilege of attending the Global Leadership Gathering (GLG) in Singapore!  Although I don't understand what day or time it is there, I can say that the days he has spent there have been a powerful time of of impartation and complete awe of what God is doing around the globe with YWAM.

If you don't have John on your facebook here are some of his status updates:

"YWAM conference: Your view of the work God is doing gets bigger when you go to our Caribbean conference, but when you go to a global gathering, you get blown out of the water"

"Exodus 33 "The presence of God wow.  What do we want to do more??  Do we want God to bless us? Or do we want to bless God?  There is such a huge difference it has everything to do with the presence of God"

"The word of the Lord to YWAM Belize. 'It is time!'"

Genesis 26:18-22 "And Isaac dug again the wells of water that had been dug in the days of abraham his father, which the Philistines had stopped after the death of Abraham.  And he gave them the names that his Father had given then.  But when Isaac's servants dug in the valley and found there was a well of spring water, the herdsmen of Gerar quarrelled with Isaac's herdsmen, saying, "The water is ours."  So he called the name of the well Esek, because they contended with him.  They they dug another well, and they quarrelled over that also, so he called its name Sitnah.  And he moved from there and dug another well, and they did not quarrel over it.  So he called its name Rehoboth, saying, "For now the Lord has made room for us and we shall be fruitful in the land."

We are full of faith in this next season of new vision and digging up old wells.  Please keep praying for our family as we serve God's purposes in Belize.
